The nose has clean-cut aromas of lemon flower and bees wax. The palate is very elegant and stylish with citrus characters on the middle palate, tightly structured in its youthful zestiness and finishing finely with a superbly crisp natural grape acidity. The wine is un-oaked and totally fruit-driven.

This vineyard has a reputation for producing top quality wines. Little surprise this wine was given a remarkable 88 points by super critic Robert Parker and notched up a hightly-sought after silver medal at a 2007 US wine competition. The secrets behind the wines's success are the wonderfully concentrated, hand picked Tempranillo grapes grown in Valdepenas - Spains's oldest wine region and the long periods spent mellowing in oak barrels. Delightfully smooth, bursting  with ripe red berry and vanilla aromas, with hints of tobacco and leather. Rich and complex, the finish is long and spicy.
